Series of military vehicles Dodge WC (called Beeps) made a large portion of light 4WD and 6WD multirole vehicles. Chrysler produced them under Dodge and Fargo brands during WWII. Dodge ½ tone and Dodge ¾ tone comprised a large portion of light vehicles in US Army during WWII. Many modifications of these vehicles were made, but mechanically they were very similar. Dodge WC series is constructed in two generations (1940-1942 first generation). Second generation was built from 1941. What is interesting to mention is that nearly 25 000 of these vehicles were delivered to Soviet Union during WWII. They were also used in Yugoslav People Army. More info and detail about this fantastic multirole vehicle are available online. Rather interesting new Zvezda model, comes in the standard quality grey styrene packed in safe and sturdy box. Grey styrene with ample of detail became a trademark of new Zvezda models. On photos it is visible that the whole engine is given, with possibility of open or closed hood. Also the driver’s space has a lot of detailing accurately portraying the real one. There is also a Russian soldier figure in a sitting posture behind the steering wheel and with Spagin MG next to him. The tires are given in plastic, which is also a better option than if they were rubber. This is my conclusion due to easier painting. The three marking schemes are given. Two US and one Soviet. Paint codes are Zvezda and for us easier to obtain Tamiya. Instructions are detailed and clear. Considering that there is not much examples of this model from other companies in 1/35 scale, it is nice to have it in the WWII collection. Of course, a recommendation. We would like to thank Zvezda for this sample.
