Više o ovoj, zaista sjajnoj maketi Zvezde.
Dve ruske i dve američke.

As usual with Zvezda lately, after the model in 1/35 scale, the same model in 1/72 scale follows. This time it is M4A2(72) Sherman tank. It is the most produced tank in the WWII, used by almost all Allied armies in the conflict, as well as later all around the world in different conflicts. Many modifications were done as an answer to the growing threat of anti-tank weaponry developed during conflicts. A lot has been written about this tank, therefore I would not waste time on the history. Those of you interested can search the web for info.
More about this excellent model itself.
It is the snap-fit model, which means it is meant to be assembled without the use of glue. However, I would suggest using glue in small amounts. Within the box there are 120 extremely detailed parts. The gun should be drilled with the fine drill bit, while the towing cable should be removed from the tree as soon as possible, due to the possibility of breaking it. All the other parts are as usual of good quality and without flash on the parts. Tank tracks are made of black plastic and are assembled via bending. One should be careful with them however, since they are prone to breaking, which is then difficult to fix. The interesting thing is that four painting and marking schemes are given, two Soviet and two US. On the scanned scheme one can see the markings and paint recommendations. The paint codes given are of Tamiya and Zvezda. Excellent model in 1/72 scale and a real treat to fans of armor in that scale. I would recommend this model!
We would like to thank Zvezda for providing us with the model for this review.
